Parapsychologist Mike Smith has appeared on BBC Look North with team twice, as a preview to their Live Halloween broadcast for David Reeves' The Late Licence on BBC Radio Humberside (as well as appearing om Gadgets and Gizmos and James Hoggarth's Evening Show both on BBC Radio Hunberside).

In 2006 Mike gave a tour of the former Police cells and the original Victorian Toilets to BBC Look North's Nicola Hudson (opposite below) prior to their investigation of Hull Paragon Station. In addition Michael and the team broadcast weekly reports to an Australian audience when they appeared on JOY FM with Jarred and Captain Claire (also known as just 'The Captain') invited parapsychologist Michael Smith to The Loft to explain to their Australian listeners into what goes into a paranormal investigation, what to listen and look for while conducting said investigation and what the role of a parapsychologist is.
